Premier Federal Credit Union offers many additional services
to exceed your financial needs.
Overdraft Protection
Should your checking account have insufficient funds to pay
a check, you can rest easy with our Overdraft Protection
service. With this service we will automatically transfer money
from your savings account to cover checks, electronic funds
transfers or other withdrawal requests.
Wire Services
Premier Federal Credit Union can wire funds to institutions
that are capable of receiving the wired funds. The Member
must provide Premier FCU with the receiving institution's
wiring instructions. The fee for outgoing wires is $10.00 plus
any additional charges (outside the U.S. - Premier's fee plus
the additional fee from our intermediary bank).
Premier Federal Credit Union does not charge a fee for
receiving funds from another financial institution.
To request a wire, simply fill out a Wire Transfer Request and
fax to 336.379.3506. Signatures are required for Wire Services.

Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit is the safe and easy way to deposit your paycheck
automatically into your Premier Federal Credit Union Checking or
Savings account. You won't have to wait in line or drive to an ATM
to cash your check because your funds are deposited electronically
into your account.
The most popular application of Direct Deposit is for payroll, but it
can also be used for many other types of payments, including:
- Annuities
- Bonuses and commissions
- Dividend and interest payments
- Pensions
- Travel expense settlements
- Tax refunds
- Social Security or other government payment
- To take advantage of Direct Deposit, contact your
employer's payroll or personnel office to find out if Direct
Deposit is available.
Notary Services
Premier Federal Credit Union offers free notary services to
members.
Money Orders
Premier FCU offers money orders up to $999 to its members at a
$1 flat fee. Money orders must be purchased with cash or verified
funds. Checks drawn from institutions other than Premier FCU are
not acceptable.
Travelers Checks
We offer Travelers Cheques for individuals at no charge for
members and at a charge of $1 per $100 for non-members.
Travelers Cheques for two are also available at $1 per $100
(maximum $5) for members and $2 per $100 (maximum $10) for
non-members. Cheques must be purchased with cash or
guaranteed funds from a member's account. Checks drawn from
institutions other than Premier FCU are not acceptable.
Savings Bonds
Premier FCU is both an issuing and paying agent for US Savings
Bonds. We accept applications and payment for Series EE or Series
I savings bonds and forward them to the Federal Reserve Banks,
where the bonds are issued and mailed to the owner. Bonds are
normally delivered within 15 days. |
