1. Open your new account
To become a member of Premier Federal Credit Union, you
first need to fill out a Membership Applications and establish
your Membership Savings Account. Click here to learn how
to join Premier FCU.
2. Move your automatic payments/deposits
Once you have completed step one, notify all entities that make
automatic withdrawals from or deposits to your old account. This
includes any billers or lenders who you pay through automatic
transfers, as well as those who make direct deposits into your
account, like your employer.
Use the forms below to notify anyone who meets the description
above that your account status is changing. You will want to
contact these parties to ensure that they will accept this form
before sending it, as some places may require you to fill their
forms instead.
3. Close your old account
Prior to closing your old account, make sure that all oustanding
checks and withdrawals have cleared. This may take several
weeks. Once you are sure that all outstanding checks and
withdrawals have cleared, you can use this form to close your
old account.
