We have received notice of a Text Message Scam attempting to obtain your personal information. The text message will ask you to call and provide your account information. If you receive this text, please delete the message. If you have already responded, please call us immediately at 800 - 873 - 2929.

For a third consecutive year, Premier says, "Thank You!" to our members and gives back 5%...IN CASH! That's right, as our way for saying thanks for another successful year, if you paid interest on select loans*, we gave you back a portion of the interest of your loan(s).
On January 1st, 2013, any member who paid interest on a loan* in 2012, received 5% of their interest paid in their share (savings) account!
"This is the third year we have been able to give members back some of their paid interest in the form of an interest rebate. We are extremely excited and happy that our members are turning to Premier FCU for all their lending needs and for another successful year!", said Lori Thompson, President/CEO of Premier FCU.

Premier Federal Credit Union is excited to announce our partnership with a new credit card processor who offers greater flexibility and enhanced member benefits!
In October, you will receive a new Premier Federal Credit Union Visa Credit Card. This new card will replace your existing card, regardless of the expiration date. If you are the primary cardholder, your card number will remain the same. For security reasons, each additional user on an account will receive a new card with a unique card number.
If you would like additional information including the exciting new benefits as well as some Frequently Asked Questions, please review the letter below that pertains to your credit card. If you have any questions, feel free to call us at 800-873-2929 and we will be happy to assist you.

Our New Mobile App is Now Live!

Our new App is now available at most App stores! If you are already signed up for Mobile Money, simply search for Premier Federal Credit Union at the App Store and begin using our new app today!
If you are not enrolled in Mobile Banking, you must sign up in order to use the app to access your account. To sign up, click the Access My Account link at the top of our website and log into Premier Online. Then under the Self Service tab, click Mobile Money and follow the on screen directions to enroll.
If you are not already a Premier Online member, click the Access My Account link at the top of our web site and follow the on screen instructions to sign up for Online Access prior to enrolling in Mobile Money. If you have any questions or need additional assistance, give us a call at 800.873.2929.
After you've enrolled in Mobile Money, visit the App Store for your device and search for Premier Federal Credit Union to download and install our new app.

Fraud Alert: Certified Check Cashing Scam

We have received notice of a Certified Check Cashing Scam targeting our members. Some have reported receiving a letter referencing a recent Mystery Shop along with a fraudulent check. Members are being asked to cash the check and wire a portion to an overseas account. If you have received this letter, please call us immediately at 800-873-2929 or email us at email@example.com.
Premier FCU and the North Carolina Consumer's Council

In June of 2012, The North Carolina Consumer's Council (NCCC) became affiliated with Premier FCU to offer credit union loans and services to its members. The NCCC is a non-profit consumer advocacy group that has represented the consumers of North Carolina since 1968.
The membership fee is $18 for the first year with optional renewals afterwards for $10 per year. Members can join or renew for multiple years for discounted rates. Even if you do not renew your membership with the NCCC, you retain your membership with Premier FCU.

PremierOnline System Maintenance!

In order to provide you with the best service possibly, we will be performing System Maintenance on Sunday, May 13th and on Sunday, May 20th, 2012. The maintenance will take place between 3:00 AM - 8:00 AM EST on each day. During this time our online banking system, PremierOnline, will not be available. New Phishing Virus - Be Aware!

There is another version of Zeus on the loose. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) recently issued an alert on a new version of the Zeus Trojan called Gameover, which is distributed via spear phishing attacks aimed at commercial accounts and ultimately lead to account takeovers. Emails purporting to be from NACHA (The Electronic Payments Association) inform the victim organizations of a failed ACH transaction. The victim’s computer is infected with the Trojan when they click on the link contained in the email.
