Employer Requirements

Immediate Family Member & Common Household Requirements
If your immediate family member is a participating member of the credit union or is someone who works for one of our sponsor companies then you qualify as a potential member.
Immediate family member is defined as: parent, spouse, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild (also including stepparents, stepchildren, stepsibling and adoptive relationships). You are also eligible if you are residing at the same address as a current member.
Community Requirements
If you live or work in Kings Mountain, NC or in a defined area in Forest City, NC you would qualify for potential membership. Please contact our local Forest City branch to receive more information.
North Carolina Consumers Council
In 2012, The North Carolina Consumer Council (NCCC) became affiliated with Premier FCU to offer credit union loans and services to its members. The NCCC is a non-profit consumer advocacy group that has represented the consumers of North Carolina since 1968.
The membership fee is $18 for the first year with optional renewals afterwards for $10 per year. Members can join or renew for multiple years for discounted rates. Even if you do not renew your membership with the NCCC, you retain your membership with Premier FCU.
